Autumn is no doubt my favourite time of the year for portraits. I love the warmth you get from the leaves in all shades of red, orange and yellow, even better that we hardly have to wait past dinner time to catch a glimpse of the sun setting! Jennifer & David wanted autumn colours in their engagement shoot and there is no better place for this than the gardens at Mount Wilson. It has been a wet couple of days leading up to their shoot, so in result trees started to bare and the weather that day wasn’t the greatest either. That didn’t stop us from wrapping our couple in all the Autumn we can find at Breenhold Gardens (boy were we excited when we spotted a bright orange tree amongst a sea of green!). As cloudy as it was that day, we knew we wouldn’t get nice afternoon light.. it got dark quickly and started to sprinkle, rather than wrapping up early / running for cover we made these two dance and be themselves between an enchanting row of trees.
I loved getting to know you both in the short time that we had together in one the prettiest part of NSW! Enjoy the rest of your journey towards becoming Husband and Wife, and beyond J+D! :)
