It was worthwhile being up bright and early on a Friday morning just to capture some sweet moments between these lovebirds. Thankful that they were pretty enthusiastic given the hour, cracking a few jokes and creating some silly scenarios.. we had a pretty good laugh ourselves! It was a chilly morning but that gives them an even better reason to cuddle up for a few shots! (I feel warm and fuzzy just looking at the photos again :) )
They are about to start the next exciting part of their lives… by this time tomorrow they would’ve already become Husband and Wife. I’m counting down the hours with them! :)
The morning at the boys began with toasting beers (as usual) and they kept themselves entertained with a soccer ball in the living room of Gabby & Nick’s apartment. As for the girl’s side, most of the time you would hear someone or a few girls singing away to a few tunes in the background. When it was the final hour, things got a lot more fun as we had wedding dress designer Henry Roth himself in the same room joining in with the singing while getting the bride into her dress, designed by him of course. Easily the funnest bride getting ready encountered to date!
The performance continued on to their reception when both Gabby & Nick were introduced, they made a dramatic entrance through the side door of the venue and put on quite a show for their guests. Their love for one another, excitement, (and energy!) on their wedding is something we truly enjoyed witnessing. We feel extremely lucky to have been a part of it all! It has been close to 5 months since the big day, and we hope that their marriage so far is nothing short of amazing!

In French the word Elaine means ‘shining light’ and to Lymer, he believes that Elaine is the Light to his Darkness. Such beautiful words coming from a groom who couldn’t take his eyes off his bride for the whole day, and to top it off he had a big smile on his face from the moment he saw her walking down the aisle until the end of the night. Elaine and Lymer had their wedding ceremony at St Peters Chapel at Hunters Hill, a small stone chapel located in a cute little street of Hunters Hill. It was our first time shooting there and instantly fell in love with the exterior of the building. The sun started setting just as we were finished the location shoot which gave us amazing lighting against the vibrant trees of the chapel. So glad that we were blessed with the perfect weather that day! The wedding reception was held at Oatlands House, a popular choice among a lot of our couples of late and its no surprise why. We loved every minute spent with these guys on their wedding day and wish them the very best for their marriage!

Elope to Europe with us. There is something about Europe that many girls out there seem to have a big fascination on, the romance, the culture, the vintage scenery and the overall feeling that you just don’t get anywhere else in the world. Back in July, one of our groom and bride to be, Natalie and Tim travelled to Europe for a Holiday with their family. Luckily Tim is the brother to our Head Videographer Daniel here at Clarzzique. So Engagement Photos part 1 in Paris……… OK! Europe every where you look serves as an amazing backdrop, just about at every angle and every turn exudes romance altogether. Play along with Natalie and Tim as they take you to Europe for a day.

The reason I’m sneaking another blog post this week is because, today’s couple is getting married…. tomorrow!
We are certain that we’ve got a fun day ahead of us judging by what went down during their engagement shoot. We love that they brought their personalities and their favourite things along. They are both researchers, so we found ourselves at a real lab, they love lego and starwars… so we had a light sabre battle (no one got hurt during the shoot, I think!).
It was a fun shoot of just being silly, being themselves all while enjoying each other’s company. For us? We had a pretty awesome time and admire the happiness these two share!
